Remote Camera

Remote cameras can be fixed or mobile and configured for continuous feed or event triggered operation.  In continuous feed mode, the operator sets the time interval at which image frames will be retrieved from the camera.  In event-triggered mode, the operator can trigger an image through the communications link, or the camera can be set to take an image or series of images when a switch is closed at the camera location.  Cameras also can have a stationary mount, or they may be equipped to pan (left/right), tilt (up/down) and zoom (close in/out).

Renaissance Technologies Inc. (RTI) can provide software for use with cameras in any of these configurations.

Key Benefits

  • RTI software can be configured to allow remote cameras to communicate using standard TCP/IP protocol.  This means they can be accessed either locally over a network or over the internet.
  • The easy-to-use software can automatically gather and store images from one or more multiple cameras.
  • Cameras can be integrated with other remote monitoring and remote control products using RTI software.
